Advanced Training

This is a group of likeminded people who have passed both the beginners and medallion classes and have then been invited to attend the advanced training class.

The group develops the basic training already learnt in previous courses and enjoys a wide variety of further training including:

• Right Heel
• Silent Distance Control
• Advanced Heel Work
• Mass Recall
• Crawl
• Weaving
• Retrieving
• Finding named articles
• Handling Other Members Dogs
• Sit / Stand / Down on Recall
• In addition to specific training as opportunities arise.

During the classes other dogs with behavioural problems are occasionally invited to attend (1 at a time), in order to be assessed and meet other dogs under controlled conditions.

In addition the display team is made up from members of the Advanced Training Class.

Members from this class regularly organise socials for both the handlers and their dogs including: Christmas Party, Summer BBQ, Club Walks etc
